I started out at 4flow as a student writing my master’s thesis. In addition to writing my thesis, I was able to collaborate on a consulting project. During the whole experience I learned a ton and had a lot of fun. I then joined 4flow as a junior consultant. My first project was a case involving a transportation network in Kazakhstan. Right from the beginning I had my own areas of responsibility and even worked on-site in Kazakhstan. Like all new team members at 4flow, I was assigned a supervisor who became an important contact person for feedback and both my personal and professional development.

What I appreciate at 4flow is that people work together are open-minded and eager to share their know-how. 4flow challenge is an idea that a few of us consultants developed as a team. It gives students an opportunity to approach and solve supply chain problems from a consultant’s perspective. The 4flow challenge is about strategic decision making, concept planning and analytic evaluation. As in everyday consulting, it will require a good deal of teamwork with the usual questions. How will we break down the work? What are the deliverables for each work package? How will we approach them so that we have an informative and persuasive presentation in the end? The participating teams will have direct contact with consultants from 4flow and will be coached throughout the competition.  And not to forget, the top three teams receive cash prizes.
