New standards in supply chain transparency: 4flow and TRUMPF 

4flow has partnered with TRUMPF, a leading global provider of machine tools and lasers for industrial manufacturing, to implement an innovative control tower solution. The partnership, which was first established in 2021, has significantly increased transparency and efficiency in TRUMPF’s supply chain.

Key outcomes of the collaboration: 

• Cost savings through transport optimization, standardization and automation: The implementation of control tower concept helped optimize TRUMPF’s transport network, make processes more efficient and establish uniform standards – all of which have led to significant savings of more than 10% of TRUMPF’s freight cost budget.
• Significantly increased transparency: 4flow iTMS (integrated transportation management system) enables precise milestone tracking, giving TRUMPF unprecedented visibility and control over all supply chain operations.
• Automated document and shipment tracking: Documents and shipments are now tracked efficiently in 4flow iTMS, ensuring comprehensive monitoring of customer deliveries. Furthermore, being able to actively manage distribution has led to an improvement in on-time deliveries worldwide, increasing customer satisfaction.
