4flow listed as a Sample Vendor in the Gartner® Hype Cycle™ for Supply Chain Execution and Logistics Technologies, 2025*
4flow recognized in the Transportation Forecasting category for sixth consecutive year
4flow was listed in the Gartner Hype Cycle for Supply Chain Execution and Logistics Technologies. According to the report, “Gartner Hype Cycles provide insight into the maturity, readiness and business impact of innovative technologies.” This marks the sixth year in a row that 4flow was included as a Sample Vendor in the Transportation Forecasting category.
“We believe this distinction speaks not only to the quality of our software solutions but also to 4flow’s dedication to our customers and partners around the world,” said Christian Nieters, executive vice president at 4flow.
4flow software solutions are designed to elevate supply chain planning by leveraging predictive analytics, historical data insights and the latest market trends. These tools empower organizations to anticipate demand shifts, optimize capacity and navigate evolving cost landscapes, enhancing both efficiency and responsiveness across operations.
4flow’s integrated transport management system (4flow iTMS) is a next generation TMS that merges strategic, tactical and operational transportation management into a single, coherent platform. It generates full transparency across processes – from data governance and freight cost oversight to real-time analytics – and supports scalable deployment.
4flow iTMS bolsters supply chain resilience by enabling dynamic exception management while facilitating multi-scenario planning to prioritize sustainability, cost savings and lead time efficiency. As part of 4flow’s broader digital supply chain suite, these transportation forecasting capabilities are seamlessly integrated with planning, execution and analytics tools, helping organizations achieve end-to-end visibility, sustainable cost reduction and agile execution in an increasingly complex supply chain landscape.
The report also states: “Transportation forecasting solutions, often part of a transportation management system (TMS) or as a stand-alone solution, apply demand-sensing/forecasting techniques specifically aligned with transportation networks, hierarchies and planning constraints. Specialized transportation forecasting solutions offer robust, transportation-specific allocation methodologies that can translate customer, location and product demand into lane- and mode-specific shipping demand projections.”
The report further states: “Shippers are searching for methods to address fluctuations in capacity and rates due to the increasing number and frequency of supply chain disruptions. Shippers and carriers are shifting from a singular emphasis on cost reduction to better address efficiency and productivity, with a focus on the impact of transportation and logistics on company growth, service levels, profitability and sustainability.”
