“Winning these awards in two categories makes us very proud and further motivates us to achieve excellent results for our customers,” said Kai Althoff, COO of 4flow.
The awards were presented during the Best Supply Chain Brand (Beste Logistik Marke) ceremony on April 10, 2019, at the Bertelsmann premises in Berlin, Germany. Andreas Kick, partner at 4flow, accepted the award on behalf of 4flow in the category “Supply Chain Consulting”. Meanwhile, executive vice president at 4flow Christian Nieters accepted 4flow’s award in the category “IT for Transportation Management”.
This is the third time that the Best Supply Chain Brand award has been presented, after previous rankings in 2016 and 2017. With the award, BVL International and the German supply chain publication Logistik Heute aim to highlight brand relevance in the supply chain sector. Roughly 200 firms were eligible for ranking in 11 categories and were nominated by an independent committee led by Dr. Christian Kille, a supply chain expert from the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. Total revenue and market relevance in Germany were the primary criteria in considering firms for nomination.
