"It’s rewarding to see the value our solutions bring to our customers”
Greca, Product Marketing Manager in Berlin, 4flow software
Greca Manuzzi works as a Product Marketing Manager at 4flow software in Berlin. In her more than seven years at 4flow, she has transitioned from working as a product owner to focusing on bridging the gap between product, sales and the market. In this interview, she talks about the trends she's observing in the supply chain industry, why she values a diverse work environment, and how she traveled across 10 countries during her sabbatical.
Can you share how your path led you to your current role?
My background is in mechanical engineering. After graduating, I was looking for a job where I could combine technical knowledge with innovative, fast-evolving fields like software. I started out in a technical consulting role at a software company before eventually moving into product ownership and marketing roles.
When I joined 4flow, I didn't have much direct knowledge about supply chain. But I was drawn to the company because of its culture. Over time, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the industry and its complexities. I love the mix of technical challenges, creative communication and strategic thinking in my current role as Product Marketing Manager.
What does your daily work as a Product Marketing Manager look like?
A big part of my job involves communicating between departments like product management, marketing and sales. I translate highly technical product features into clear, customer-friendly messaging – essentially bringing the voice of the product to the market. My goal is to help potential customers understand what we do and how we add value to their business. I also work closely with our product managers to understand updates in our solutions and to plan for future developments. The goal is to align what we‘re offering with the needs of the market and to ensure our solutions deliver real value.
Are there any key trends you're currently observing in the market?
Absolutely! AI is dominating the conversation everywhere, including in supply chain optimization. Modular and integrated solutions are also major trends. Businesses are seeking platforms that connect all aspects of the supply chain – from planning to execution – in a seamless and efficient way.
At 4flow, we’re adapting to these trends with products like 4flow TORO or the Kinaxis TLO by 4flow, which connect material and order planning with transportation planning in one integrated system. We use AI-powered algorithms and automation to ensure smooth execution and fulfill our customers’ needs in a single solution. It’s rewarding to see the value our solutions bring to our customers.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I love most is definitely the interaction with different departments and people. I’m a bit of a mediator in my position, and I love learning from sales, marketing, and product teams. The people are definitely one of the best parts about 4flow. Everyone is so approachable and supportive.
I also appreciate the company’s diversity. Working with colleagues from different countries and backgrounds has been a major highlight because I always enjoy exploring different cultures. I just took a sabbatical to travel across 10 countries.
That sounds exciting! Can you tell us about your sabbatical?
My boyfriend and I spent four months traveling, mostly in Central America. We hiked an active volcano in Guatemala, swam with baby turtles in the ocean in El Salvador, and explored the rainforests of Costa Rica. It was one of the most enriching experiences of my life. Having the opportunity to travel the world and knowing that I can return to work afterward was great.
