4flow and AGCO win CFLP China Automotive Logistics Innovation Award

4flow and AGCO, the global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural solutions, were named as joint winners of the China Automotive Logistics Innovation Award 2018.

The distinguished award is presented annually by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP), the premier professional organization for supply chain management in China. The CFLP selected this year’s winners for their successful, ongoing collaboration in digitizing ACGO’s supply chain in China. As a result of the same digitization initiative, 4flow was also recently named AGCO China Supplier of the Year 2018 in the “Best Contribution” category. “These awards are a recognition of our outstanding success with AGCO and another important milestone for 4flow’s growth in China. We are very honored, and we would particularly like to congratulate our team here in China,” said Soeren Hagen, managing director of 4flow in China.

Since 2016, AGCO has benefitted from centralized, transparent, and sustainable inbound supply chain management in China. As AGCO’s 4PL service provider, 4flow is responsible for all planning and management activities related to inbound material flows, from AGCO’s material suppliers all the way to assembly plants.

Previously, AGCO worked with 4flow to create a comprehensive inbound concept for its European inbound transportation network using 4flow’s cloud-based integrated transportation management management system (iTMS), resulting in transportation cost savings of more than 25 percent.

Operational in China since 2016, the broader AGCO Smart Logistics initiative – of which 4flow’s iTMS is a critical component – also won the BVL German Award for Supply Chain Management in 2016 and the European Logistics Association Project of the Year Award in 2017.
