The competition will take place April 4 to June 14, 2019. Participation is open to teams consisting of 3 to 4 master’s students, ideally with a concentration in supply chain and logistics – and your professor can support you, too. Registration ends on March 10, 2019.
At the video conference kickoff on April 4, 2019, you and your team will receive all the details about the case and the timeline. The first round of the 4flow challenge will then begin. Invitations to the kick-off will be sent to the teams selected to participate.
Round 1 – Designing an e-mobility concept
Each team (and their professor, if applicable) will work on solving the case over the course of two rounds.
In the first round, you’ll draft a concept – and prepare a corresponding presentation – in English. During this phase, a consultant from 4flow will be available to coach you and your team individually. A panel of judges consisting of experienced 4flow consultants will then evaluate the submissions and invite the best teams to the second round.
Round 2 – Detailed solution
In the second round, the winning teams from the first round will detail their solutions – with the assistance of their professors, if applicable. You and your team will also prepare your final slideshow presentation in English. Of course, 4flow consultants will also be available to the teams for support and advice during the second round.
Two-day finals in Berlin – Presentation and panel evaluation
At the finals on June 13 and 14, 2019, the winning teams from the second round will be invited to 4flow’s headquarters in Berlin, Germany – 4flow will cover your expenses for travel and lodging, of course. During the two-day finals, your team will present your solutions to the judges and the other teams. The judges will evaluate your solution’s technical quality along with the teams’ presentation and communication skills.
All participants will be invited to attend an evening event to take place on Thursday, June 13, 2019. The event will give you a perfect opportunity to meet more consultants from 4flow and build your network.
At the Friday conclusion of the two-day finals in Berlin, the judges will announce the winning teams of the 4flow challenge 2019.
